Alva Guest House is a beautiful bed and breakfast situated in the small coastal village of Mainsriddle. Overlooking the Solway Firth, Mainsriddle is situated on the A710 between Dumfries and Dalbeattie. Dalbeattie - 8miles, Dumfries - 15miles, Castle Douglas - 16miles

Alva House is open all year round and offers private off road parking and a safe lockup for bicycles. Pets are also welcome. Our aim is provide a comfortable and relaxing stay to all our guests.

Alva House has red squirrels and also a variety of wild birds in the garden and guests are invited to sit out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

• A Double room with en suite
